Public Allies deadline extended

Public Allies Milwaukee is still looking for applicants that are opportunity youth (ages 18-24, currently not in school or unemployed w/out a 2 or 4 year college degree) Public Allies MKE is a rigorous 10-month AmeriCorps program that combines full-time, paid apprenticeships in nonprofits with intensive skills training, active community-building projects, personalized coaching and critical reflection. Public Allies MKEs mission is to advance new leadership to strengthen communities, nonprofits and civic participation Public Allies offers their volunteers a $17,000 stipend over 10 months and offers a $5,500 education award upon completion of the program. - an applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
