Reschedule of Eric Dozier tomorrow night

Please see how Eric Dozier has rescheduled the previous event due to the pandemic.  You must register to attend.

This week, December 4, Tahirih shared with us the Eric Dozier event. This is the Musical Journeys program that he was going to do in our area this past spring!! We finally get to see it. Read below to see how to register.

At 8:00 pm CST on Friday, December 4, Eric Dozier will be hosting a musical fireside "live" from his home in Florida. Titled "A Change Is Gonna Come," Eric will take you on a journey that shines a light at the crossroads of music and American race relations.

ERIC DOZIER
Singer-Songwriter & Self-Styled Itinerant Blues Preacher

Equal parts live performance, lecture, and revival meeting, "A Change Is Gonna Come: Musical Journeys Through American Race Relations" is a unique way of experiencing the impact of music on American culture, identity and social progress.

Through his wealth of experience working with groups of all ages and his unique blend of Down and Dirty Blues, Socially Conscious Soul, and Spirit Fueled Gospel Music, cultural activist and musician Eric Dozier takes you on a journey as he shines a light at the crossroads of music and American race relations by performing songs and discussing key musical figures and themes from the Abolitionists, Civil Rights, labor & anti-war movements , as well as other contemporary voices of change both within the US and internationally.

By the end, participants understand what it means to be an active and creative advocate of diversity and equity imbued with a renewed sense of mission and commitment to being the change they wish to see.

You MUST RSVP to attend. Just send an email to info@roguevalleybahais.org and indicate you'd like to attend the Eric Dozier event. They'll send out the Zoom link shortly before the event.

Masks

 Masks. Good morning,

5Points (5PNA) is very concerned about the health of all. Our thanks extends to the Milwaukee Health Department for a substantial amount of washable cloth masks. We have distributed a fair amount to those participating in events: we have also taken the approach that if we see someone on the street without a mask or using a handkerchief as a mask we will hand you one for the safety of all. Thank you for being warm enough to care for all and accept this gift to preserve our people and population.
