Full Time
The Client & Collections Manager is a full-time position responsible for managing borrower accounts, including past due payments and collections matters to ensure timely customer repayment. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to: regular communication via phone, in-person, mail and/or email with all delinquent accounts; the collection and recording of payments within the loan management data base and all related functions, including preparing statements and account servicing; collateral management of active, paid in full and charged off loans; collaboration with staff, WWBIC vice presidents, attorneys and 3rd parties to strategize and implement effective repayment methods; documentation and data management of all of the above-mentioned activities.
This position requires a genuine desire to work with business owners of diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Some travel and evening/weekend hours required.  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, minimum 3-5 years solid work experience required, prefer experience in account workout and resolution in banking or microlending, legal assistance and/or business counseling. Special consideration for candidates from a non-profit or Community Development Financial Institution background, who understand the need for creative and diplomatic methods, while employing an assertive approach. Strong communication skills and professionalism a must.

Small Business Consultant - Madison (South Central markets)
Full Time
This position a full-time position responsible for delivery and coordination of WWBIC’s business assistance programs located in the Greater Madison and South Central Markets.   Core responsibilities include: assess client needs and provide direct one-on-one or small group technical assistance and counseling to WWBIC loan clients; conduct business site visits; promote and increase awareness of client businesses; perform comprehensive review of business plan including marketing plan, financial goals, financial statements, and projections; develop action plans to achieve goals and monitor client progress; assist client in creating cash flow projections and in financial analysis to provide guidance and options in making purchase decisions.
This position requires a genuine desire to work with business owners of diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.  Some travel and evening/weekend hours required.  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, minimum 3-5 years solid work experience required, preferably in small business planning, business development, or business counseling. Having been a small business owner previously is preferred.  Strong communication skills and professionalism a must.

Part Time
This is a part-time position responsible for targeted outreach and partnership efforts in designated rural Wisconsin counties and for expanding WWBIC's small business education and lending programs in that market.
Minimum three years to five years experience working with small business or in economic development, preferably with a focus on service low to moderate income individuals.  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.  Excellent organizational, analytical, inter-personal communication and attention to detail a must.  Requires good verbal communication skills with diverse audiences, ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate professionalism.  Must have demonstrable computer skills with Microsoft Office and database experience a plus.  Valid driver’s license and proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required as position requires off-site activities.  Occasional evening or weekend work can be expected.  The ideal person is flexible, positive and has a sense of humor.  Must present a positive professional appearance at all times.
