We at COA Youth & Family Centers are currently hiring for the following position:

Title: Administrative Assistant 
Location: Administration
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Earnings: $10.50 to $11.00 per hour based on experience 
The deadline to apply is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014. 

This position is the first face forward for COA, responsible for providing exceptional customer service by answering the telephone, managing calendars and greeting visitors. In addition this position provides general office support for administrative staff. This is a full-time, year-round position eligible for benefits. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Main Job Responsibilities

1. Answer telephone in a timely, professional manner and direct calls to appropriate staff/voicemail. Manage general COA voice mailbox.
2. Greet everyone that enters the Admin building and provide accurate information and answer questions about COA and our programs.
3. Provide various general office support.
4. Work with the Youth Development Director regarding the Drivers Education program by maintaining program requirements spreadsheet and following up with various sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED and at least 18 years old
• At least one year of receptionist or administrative experience
• Proficiency in standard office software, especially Word and Excel
• Must have a professional demeanor and a passion for serving others
• Good communication and telephone skills
• Must be friendly, courteous, polite, and respectful, even under pressure
• Must have attention to detail, be organized, and able to prioritize duties to meet deadlines
• Accurate typing skills
