On Saturday, June 21st, 2014, the Northside YMCA, located at 1350 W. North Avenue, will host two very helpful community events. The Driver’s License Restoration event will be held 10 am – 1 pm, in the Prime Time Room. The Mobile Legal Clinic will be parked in the parking lot from 10 am – 2 pm. Both events are free and open to the community. Volunteer legal professionals will be onsite. No appointments are necessary. No legal advice will be given ahead of time; all advice will be given at the time of the event.
The Driver’s License event will help people restore suspended licenses. The Mobile Legal Clinic will help with evictions, child support, custody and visitation, bill collection, foreclosure, and death of a family member (no criminal matters).
