Job Training for the Construction Industry Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM Located at Our Next Generation (3421 W Lisbon Avenue) Sponsored by: Hunzinger Construction Company WRTP/BIG STEP Prism Technical Management and Marketing Services, LLC Progressive Community Health Center's Lisbon Avenue Health Center expansion project is underway and we are looking for qualified and experienced construction workers from the neighborhood to work on the project. Don't have experience or training but are interested in a career in the construction industry? Come to learn about the job training and work readiness programs offered by WRTP/BIG STEP. Project shall utilize a local workforce for no less than 10% of the total labor hours for the construction of the project. All workers on the project must be paid at least $10.50 per hour. Work categories for the project are as follows: Concrete, Masonry, Structural and Misc. Steel, Rough and Finish Carpentry, Roofing, Fireproofing, Glazing Drywall, Resilient Flooring and Carpet Installation, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Landscaping, Demolition, Asbestos Abatement, Construction Cleaning, and Jobsite Security.
