6th District Town Hall Meeting will feature Fire and Police Commission appointee

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs will host a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, January 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Library, 310 W. Locust St.


Anna Wilson, Mayor Tom Barrett’s appointment to the Fire and Police Commission
(pending Common Council confirmation), will be the special guest for the evening to
discuss her qualifications, views and the appointment process.

Other city department staff will be on hand as well, including representatives of the
Department of Neighborhood Services, Department of Public Works, Department of City
Development, and representatives of Milwaukee Police Districts 1 and 5. Residents are
encouraged to attend and learn of news and happenings in the district.



Alderwoman Coggs will also announce the winners of her 6th District Difference Makers
Award, presented to residents who work diligently to improve and strengthen the quality
of life for themselves, their neighborhood and the City of Milwaukee.
The event is free and open to the public.
