Goodwill Job positions and opening--announcement from Leif Otteson, community organizer

Good Afternoon,

Yesterday Goodwill Industries met with the Business & Jobs committee and shared information about the Goodwill Workforce Connection Centers. The Centers are open to the public and offer an array of resources, access to technology and staff that can help you build a resume and find a job. 

Each Workforce Connection Center offers Job Recruitment Sessions, where job seekers have the opportunity to meet with businesses that are hiring and submit a resume. Last year 1,525 people reported finding a job! A full description of the Workforce Connection Center are available here.

Prior to attending the Recruitment Sessions, please make sure to register with Goodwill. Here is more information about the Customer Registration Request:

• All customers are asked to register during their first visit to the any Workforce Connection Center in order to access the services (such as employer recruitment events) and any resources that are available in the centers FREE of charge
• Customer registration takes place inside the centers and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete
• Goodwill does not share any customer information with any 3rd parties
• Customers only have to register once at any WCC and then they can access the services and resources available at all the WCC locations in Wisconsin
• Customers who sign-up for employer onsite recruitment events will receive a phone call reminder and/or a notification if the employer cancels a recruitment event
