by Diverse & Resilient
Because of program expansion and changes in staffing, Diverse and Resilient, Inc. seeks to hire three skilled, enthusiastic, and engaged team members for the agency. Two positions will coordinate important health promotion activities in Milwaukee and across Wisconsin. They will implement evidence-based prevention programs for partner violence or sexual health promotion. An administrative position will assist the agency President and CEO and two directors. All applicants must be eager and competent to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural organization focused on the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. They must be highly organized, have outgoing personalities, and be willing to work evenings and some weekends. The work is exciting, engaging, varied, and challenging.
Program coordinators implement and monitor one or more health promotion and disease prevention activities for teens in Milwaukee and across Wisconsin.  They routinely participate in projects by taking an active role and hold responsibility for remaining knowledgeable about LGBTQ youth prevention programs related to a health disparity.  This work includes project implementation, reporting, and evaluation.  Smooth operation of disease prevention and health promotion programs requires communication among community and program partners. A Bachelor’s degree is required; two years of progressively responsible program experience is also preferred.
The Executive Assistant to the President and CEO will manage the multiple aspects of the work day of a very busy executive including coordinating meetings, scheduling, managing his calendar, and organizing electronic and print files. Routine communications, daily bookkeeping, ordering materials, and entering donor data are part of the ongoing duties of this position. A Bachelor’s degree with three years of progressively responsible administrative work is required; four additional years of higher level administrative work may be substituted for some of the academic work.
