January Itinerary for 2017

For this month we are asking that you attend the King Day celebration on the 16th, the organizers meeting at westcare on 11:30am, wednesday 18th the town hall meeting at 5:30 MLK library with the alderwoman and the entrepreneur seminar the 28th at BEAM with the alderwoman. for additional questions inbox or view the page for details and meet with your committees.  We will have a conference call the last Tuesday of this month.

5PNA extends it condolences to the family of our former Alderwoman Marlene Johnson. Her tireless efforts to help the community are forever remembered. May God Comfort your hearts and Minds.

Congratulations and honor to Community Organizer Talibah Mateen

It is on this 4th day of January, 2017 that the 5PNA bestows upon Safe and Sound's Ms. Talibah Mateen the esteem honor of a community heroine and difference maker. Mateen has dedicated her life to building quality lifestyles and crossed paths with 5PNA while its units functioned block by block. She tirelessly worked to help each unit achieve goals of cohesion, safety, improvement, addressing neighborhood concerns, providing resources, and helping to find ways to build an overall healthy community. We are honored to have Talibah Mateen as a community organizer and link to resources. Her resolve and dedication will live on in the lives of the members she has touched and those who will pass on her knowledge and life skills to others. We congratulate her on her retirement and pray for the best in everything she aims to accomplish in this next phase of her life. We love you and God Bless.

Reminder tonight is the crime and safety meeting with MPD at MLK library on locust and King Dr at 5:30pm. attend to have your concerns addressed.
