May 2012 Minutes

Thank everyone for showing up.  This meeting was hosted by MPD Officer Osiewalski and the MPW- Earl Smith.

We discussed and received packets about the water bills, how to track a leak in your plumbing system, and that over the next two years, the water works department will replace meters in the homes.  We also found out that free leak tests as well as water screenings are performed upon request.

We received hot spot forms which should be filled out and turned in to report any nuisance problem.  These forms may be filled out anonymously.

In addition, we would like to discuss the sewer project and street repairs needed.  Some residents discussed problems that were occurring due to work taking place on the streets.  Residents are encouraged to call the dept. of water works or the mmsd to report findings and request reimbursement.

May Meeting 2012

Hello everyone,

We are looking for everyone homeowners, property owners, business owners, renters, new people on the block to show up for the meeting on Monday, May 14th, at 6PM at Atkinson Library.

Various topics:  MPD and neighborhood concerns, MMSD discussing the water bills and sewer project, Parking services Sgt. Whitten, DOT concerns, block party planning, and job information.
